3A France is a French owned company providing legal and technical maritime assistance. Our company started out in 2002, led by professional staff, some of whom have more than 25 years experience in this very specific sharp field.

The head office is based at Marseilles, France, at a stone throw distance from the Port Autonome de Marseille, where from, in addition to our surveys in various French and other European ports, we supervise the daily operations in the numerous ports that we cover in Africa and Asia.

Our General Manager, Mr Philippe PRUVOT, started his activities in this field back in 1981 in the City of London, working for Thomas R. Miller & Sons (United Kingdom Mutual P&I Association).
Later on, he joined one of the then leading P&I Clubs' Correspondents where he was in charge of their offices in West Africa.
In 1997, he decided to open his own company 3A Afrique in Dakar, Senegal. From there, this new network spread its activities to most West African countries. It now also includes various East African ports.

In 2005, 3A Bangkok, Thailand opened its doors to the maritime world, thus ensuring a "door to door" service for trade between Thailand and the African Continent. From there the Group expanded to Vietnam, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Our team consists of ex seafarers of different ranks as well as legal advisers specialied in Marine Claims. In addition to French and English our team has fluent Greek, Vietnamese and Thai speakers.
